How to Prepare

You are welcome to bring along your own e-devise, but computers will be available for you to work on. Also bring any existing material with you, incl. photos, logos, and more. Please save on a digital device of your own. Make sure you have a Gmail account of your own, and bring along the username and password. Brief Description

Collaborating in the workplace is crucial. And no longer is one only restricted to work with colleagues in the immediate workplace, but one can collaborate across geographical boundaries using online tools. Some of the benefits of online collaboration include: it moves an organisation faster towards achieving its goals; it creates greater flexibility; it brings different perspectives to the table, by people from different experiences and backgrounds; it reduces working in silos, and it  is not dependent on geographical location or time. This workshop will introduce you to some of the many online tools to work faster and smarter, involving others all over the world, or from wherever you prefer.

Expected Outcomes

After completing this course, the delegates will be able to:

  • Access & use a variety of Online Tools to Collaborate with one another;
  • Create & Organise Items in Files & Folders;
  • Change Permission Levels when Sharing;
  • Meet and discuss work online;
  • Crowdsource a spread sheet, wordprocessing file or slide; and
  • Invite others to Collaborate.
